The client is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for a prominent Oil and Gas client in Houston, TX. The ideal client has broad experience managing extensive to small projects, often complex in delivery. This highly skilled professional will be managing five project managers and client relationships. The portfolio of projects includes renovations, new construction, and expansions. With the client experiencing significant growth in recent years, they seek an experienced professional to help continue their success and expansion.
What You'll Do:
This will include the actual execution of the project and pre-construction planning with stakeholders, designers, consultants, clients, and other project team members.
Develop and organize assignments, timetables, and responsibilities for team members for the project's duration.
Organizes and directs construction personnel and ensures that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time.
Interacts with planning commissions and governing bodies. Coordinates costing estimation, contract negotiation, and remodeling activities. Under general direction, responsible for the profitable execution of assigned construction projects.
Oversee construction project meetings, observe critical construction activities, lead progress meetings, sub-contractor coordination meetings, and other critical construction events, ensuring sub-contractors perform and behave in line with client and company expectations.

What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Other related industry certifications are encouraged - PMP, and CPM.
Experience with projects such as new construction, renovations, and infrastructure renewals.
Minimum of 6 years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry
Proficient in Project Management, project scheduling software (Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6), and financial accounting systems.
Advanced working knowledge of project scheduling and documentation techniques and processes.
Position Summary:
Leads or coordinates construction projects, such as developing a new facility, adding, expanding, or extending an existing facility, or renovating/altering a facility in collaboration with the project team, construction site, and management.
