IT Business Consultant Operations (PIMS)

Responsibilities

Technical:
1. System Administration:

1. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of real-time data historian components.
2. Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
3. Monitoring and optimizing system performance.

2. Data Management:

1. Configuration of data points and tags.
2. Ensuring data integrity and consistency.

3. Cyber Security:

1. Implementing security measures for the data historian system.
2. Managing user access and permissions.
3. Ensuring compliance with security policies.

4. Reporting and Visualization:

1. Creating and managing reports using visualization tools.
2. Developing dashboards and visualizations for data analysis.

IT Infrastructure:

1. Networking:

1. Network protocols and configurations.
2. Firewall setup.

2. Server Management:

1. Windows Server administration.
2. Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

3. Database Management:

1. SQL Server administration.
2. Database backup and recovery procedures.
3. Cloud-based data storage and management.

4. System Integration:

1. Integrate PI System with other enterprise systems.
2. API and web services.

Project Management:

1. Developing project plans and timelines.
2. Managing project schedules and deadlines.
3. Managing project budgets and costs.
4. Identifying and mitigating project risks.
5. Facilitating clear and effective communication among stakeholders.
6. Preparing and presenting project status reports.

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
2. Language fluency in English and Portuguese (interviews will be in both languages).
3. Workplace in São Paulo/SP (Santo Amaro) with home office policy available.
4. Experience with installation and monitoring of OSISoft PI interfaces, servers and user tools.
5. Experience as system administrator of OSIsoft PI systems (Global architecture experience preferred).
6. Experience with monitoring and maintenance OSISoft PI System security and patch deployment.
7. Experience with OSIsoft PI tag creation, tag monitoring and tag maintenance.
8. Experience in PI Vision, Asset Framework, PI Batch, etc.
9. Advanced Project management skills and international experience.
10. Able to take End to End ownership of PIMS environment including User requirement identification, Vendor and Project management, Training, Support and Life cycle management.
11. Familiar with Network Architectures, Firewall configuration and Server configuration and administration.
12. Network architecture: TCP/IP principles, ports, routing, switching, cabling.
13. Firewall configuration: Barracuda, Implementing and configuring firewalls.
14. Guideline 29 related topics: OT Cybersecurity, Network segmentation, DMZ's.
15. Server infrastructure: Virtualization & Windows servers, VMWare, Cloud applications & servers configurations.
16. OPC servers & clients.
17. Database administration & configuration.
