Job Duties

• Supporting the EVP of Corporate Development, CEO and CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with Kodiak's business objectives and growth initiatives
• Supporting the EVP of Corporate Development in managing Kodiak's financing activities (bank debt, bonds, leases, hedging) including overall strategy, relationship management and execution
• Supporting the EVP of Corporate Development in the strategy and execution of treasury operations
• Preparing monthly and quarterly bank and trustee compliance reports
• Assisting in managing cash flow and liquidity including the creation and oversight of a standard 13-week cash flow reporting model
• Coordinating with the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis in directing the development and ongoing management of Kodiak's 5-year strategic planning model
• Overseeing the completion of the quarterly board reporting and dividend recommendation package
• Evaluating acquisition candidates and preparing executive leadership and board recommendation materials
• Assisting in divestiture activities
• Ad hoc projects in support of corporate development and capital allocation strategies and execution
• Management of corporate development support staff

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics
• Successful completion of bank credit training program or investment banking analyst program
• CPA and/or CFA preferred
• Exceptional MS Excel skills

Experience

The successful candidate will have ten years-plus experience in accounting, finance or treasury related roles in a corporate environment, private equity investing, commercial banking or investment banking.
